Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 — Arrival
Welcome to Zanzibar! Our team picks you up from Abeid Amani Karume International Airport and transfers you to your hotel. Settle in and enjoy your first evening on the Spice Island at your own pace.
Day 2 — Stone Town, Prison Island & Nakupenda
Start with a morning walking tour of historic Stone Town — explore the winding alleyways, visit the Old Fort, admire the famous carved doors, and browse local shops. After lunch, board a boat to Prison Island to meet the giant Aldabra tortoises. Then cruise to Nakupenda sandbank for a seafood lunch on a pristine strip of sand surrounded by turquoise water.
Day 3 — Le Saint Tropez Beach Club
A day of pure relaxation at Le Saint Tropez Beach Club. Enjoy world-class beach facilities, swimming pools, cocktails, and a beautiful stretch of white-sand beach. This is your chance to unwind and soak in the island atmosphere.
Day 4 — Dolphins & Mnemba Snorkelling
An early morning start to catch the dolphins at their most active. Head to Mnemba Beach where you’ll board a boat and swim alongside wild bottlenose dolphins in the open ocean. Afterwards, snorkel the incredible coral reefs surrounding Mnemba Atoll, home to sea turtles, tropical fish, and vibrant coral gardens.
Day 5 — South Coast: Sea Turtles & Mtende Beach
Explore Zanzibar’s wild south coast. Visit Sallaam Cave to swim with sea turtles in a crystal-clear natural pool. Then head to Mtende Beach — one of the most beautiful and secluded beaches on the island, with powder-white sand and turquoise waters stretching as far as the eye can see.
Day 6 — Rest Day
A free day to rest and recharge. Relax at your hotel, explore the local area on your own, visit the beach, or book a spa treatment. Your guide is available if you need recommendations or want to arrange anything spontaneous.
Day 7 — Rest Day
Another day at your own pace. Perfect for sleeping in, catching up on reading, or simply enjoying the rhythm of island life. Optional activities can be arranged on request.
Day 8 — The Rock Restaurant, Kae Funk & Shanga
Visit Shanga Restaurant for a unique dining experience that supports local artisans with disabilities. Later, head south to the iconic Rock Restaurant, perched on a rock in the Indian Ocean — one of the most photographed restaurants in Africa. End the day at Kae Funk beach for sunset drinks and a legendary beach party.
Day 9 — Safari Blue
The grand finale: a full-day Safari Blue dhow cruise. Sail on a traditional wooden dhow through the turquoise waters of Menai Bay. Visit sandbanks, snorkel over coral reefs, swim in the sheltered lagoon, and feast on a freshly prepared seafood lunch on a secluded island. This is Zanzibar’s most iconic ocean excursion.
Day 10 — Departure
Your Zanzibar adventure comes to an end. We pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the airport in time for your flight. Goodbye and we hope to see you again — Kwaheri!
