Journey
Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 — Arrival
Arrive at Karume International Airport in Zanzibar. Our team meets you at arrivals and transfers you directly to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to settle in, explore the hotel grounds, and enjoy the beach.
Day 2 — Prison Island & Nakupenda Sandbank
A full day of island exploration. Board a boat to Prison Island where you’ll meet the giant Aldabra tortoises, some over 100 years old. Then cruise to the stunning Nakupenda sandbank — a strip of white sand in the middle of the ocean — for a fresh seafood lunch prepared right on the beach.
Day 3 — Mnemba Dolphins & Baraka Aquarium
An early start for a magical day. Head out to sea near Mnemba Island to swim with wild dolphins. Afterwards, snorkel the pristine reefs around Mnemba Atoll. The day continues with a visit to the Baraka Natural Aquarium where you can swim with sea turtles in crystal-clear water.
Day 4 — Jozani Forest, Rock Restaurant & Kuza Cave
Explore Jozani National Park, home to the rare Zanzibar red colobus monkey. Continue to the iconic Rock Restaurant, perched on a rock in the ocean, for a memorable lunch. Finish the day visiting the fascinating Kuza Cave and the charming village of Jambiani.
Day 5 — Safari Blue
A full day aboard a traditional dhow for the legendary Safari Blue experience. Sail through turquoise waters, relax on pristine sandbanks, snorkel over coral reefs, and swim in the lagoon. Enjoy a lavish fresh seafood lunch prepared on Kwale Island beach.
